Armand, Amadeo, Andrei... This is my take on him.

I'm no longer a crazy Anne Rice fan but I always liked that character, and always got annoyed by the way he was portrayed in the movies.

Anyway, I started this one months ago, and decided to finish it. He wasn't supposed to look this young but I guess I got carried away. It was nice to look at old paintings to get the fashion of the century 15 to use as reference.

This is the final and weirdest design assignment: Draw a caricature of someone famous.
It was hella fun to do!! Al the wrinkles and creepy smile and stuff. The teacher thought I took a photo and distorted it so I had to hand in a "proof"

Aka Paul Von Nathusius. He's my most beloved original character. This was the second portrait I did of him, after finding the perfect model for reference (Torbjorn Larsson). This was my first time using crosshatching as a way of adding texture to skin... and everything.
After this experiment, the crosshatching became my way of texturing in paintings.

As requested by some girl, this is my version of Squall Lionheart, from Final Fantasy VIII. I wanted to go for an androgenous (sp?) face. So I used a woman's photo as main reference. And as I'm a reinassance lover, I went for a pastel color palette.

A random painting I did specially for Painter book (with the perfect size I mean). But it wasn't selected XD
Anyways, I still feel kinda proud of it... Because it was hard to handle an image like that (7000 px high) with the computer I has.
Of course, there are mistakes... but it consumed me so much I didn't want to change anything after finishing it.
By the way, he wars a synthetic coat >>

After watching the trailer more than 10 times, I felt the urge to make a fanart D:
So I did, but as I tend to change every character on earth, I did a western version of Yazoo and an asian-like of Kadaj. All in all, I particularly enjoyed texturing the leather and painting the clouds

Raito is a character who appears in the famous manga Death Note. I did a realistic portrait of him, but I think he looks very caucasian (he's supposed to be japanese). Anyways, I wanted to capture that usual broody expression in his eyes

I wanted to portray in this picture two friends' totems: A fox and a white mexican wolf. That's why they both have those strange marks around the eyes...
And I discovered later foxes aren't that big =___=
